ITEC’s new training team – ready for the future of apprenticeships!

Most of you are now aware that the new Trailblazer Apprenticeships are on their way.   New simplified standards will be implemented via Government funding through employers for their apprentices.   Here at ITEC we are busy preparing for the launch of the new apprenticeships.   We have been working with E-Skills UK to look at these Apprenticeships from the perspective of a small provider and have been working hard to make sure these apprenticeships will be suitable to run within small to medium businesses, while meeting the needs of our learners.

To help us to get everything in place, we have a new training team in place.   Some familiar faces will help with continuity and heading up the changes and we welcome some new faces.

Heidi 2014Heidi and Kerry are the familiar faces heading up the team as IQA Manager and IQA Co-ordinator. Both have been with the ITEC for many Kerry 2014years and are very experienced with work-based qualifications and standards, off-job and on-job training, assessing learners in the workplace and the internal quality assurance that’s needed to make sure standards are not only maintained but continuously improved.

Darko is another familiar face, who will continue to tutor and run our technical IT training programmes through the Microsoft and CompTIA Academies.
